When the leadership job and family life both want what is left of you
If you live in Skødstrup or Løgten and your days have become a long list of things that must be done, you are not alone. This page explains how evening sessions in English can give you some room in a busy week.
About this site: it describes evening sessions with the authorised psychologist Frank for people in and around Skødstrup. The sessions are offered by djursland-psykologen.dk.

Some weeks the battery runs down before Friday arrives, and neither coffee nor the weekend quite fills it up again.
How the pressure can look
- Always on. Emails, decisions and quick answers fill the day, and at home everyone else needs you too.
- The day never quite ends. You cook, tidy and do bedtime while part of you is still in a meeting.
- No time for yourself. Exercise, friends and hobbies slip down the list.
- Mood goes first. You snap at small things and feel guilty afterwards.
If you recognise several of these, it can be wise to talk to a professional before it gets worse. Typical topics are pressure and stress, the balance between work and family, and finding some space that belongs to you.
Evenings, in person or online
The sessions can be held in English, both online and in Mørke on Djursland. From Skødstrup and Løgten it is roughly half an hour by car, and many people like the conversation to fall after dinner, once the children are in bed or occupied.
If the week is too tight, or you would rather stay at home, the session can be online instead. It is a supplement, and just as fixed as the in-person slot.
Typical clients are leaders, founders, busy professionals and international profiles with a family.
The framework in brief
- Fixed weekly evening
- The same psychologist throughout
- In Mørke or online
- Duty of confidentiality
- Limited capacity and a waiting list

Questions and answers
Am I tired enough to ask for help?
You do not have to be burnt out. If the pressure between a leadership job and a young family has made you short-tempered, tired but sleeping badly, or short of any time for yourself, a conversation can give you some air before things lock up.
Does my GP find out?
No. Your GP is not informed, and neither are the municipality, your partner or spouse, or your workplace. The sessions are private, need no referral, and are covered by the psychologist's duty of confidentiality under Danish law.
Can my employer pay?
Yes. Many people have the invoice paid by their company or employer, and you can of course pay yourself. The practical page of the main site (in Danish) has the details.
How soon could I get an evening slot?
That cannot be said in advance. Capacity is limited and there is usually a waiting list, so no start date is promised. Signing up carries no obligation.

Need help now?
There is a waiting list, so this is not an emergency service. If your need is urgent, contact your GP, the out-of-hours medical service (lægevagten) or call 112.
